ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECTS OF A CONVENTION IS THE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES AND THE 2020 VIRTUAL EVENT WILL STILL OFFER THIS IMPORTANT ELEMENT!
Networking events will involve 5 minute conversations with fellow attendees.
Fancy Dress: Hats, Caps, Masks and Wigs
The 2020 virtual events includes the famous annual fancy dress networking function. Make sure you register and participate - all you need is a horrible hat, wacky wig, marvellous makeup, fancy fascinator or goofy glasses.
After an hour of networking and admiring everyone’s costumes, the real fun will begin – as we host “Pipeliners got talent”. Do you have a secret skill you’ve been hiding? Have a song you want to lipsync? Know a magic trick? Start practising your 1-2 min act and register your interest at cogilvie@apga.org.au.
Closing Networking Function
Our final networking function starts with a quick meet and greet with our event sponsors followed by networking conversations with fellow attendees.

APGA is the peak body representing Australasia’s pipeline infrastructure. Our membership is broad, representing all aspects of the pipeline industry. Many of our members have a focus on gas transmission, and many are also involved in the transportation of other products, such as oil, water and slurry. Our members include constructors, owners, operators, advisers, engineering companies and suppliers of pipeline products and services.
