The Rethink Addiction convention aims to bring together people with lived experience, frontline service providers, researchers and policymakers to discuss the challenges we face and what needs to change. This includes the many barriers to getting help, providing effective harm reduction responses, prevention activities and quality care, as well as the devastating impact of our current punitive drug policies. The innovative format of the program, overseen by an experienced journalist and broadcaster, will ensure that we hear from a diversity of voices across the engaging two-day program, so that together we can change the conversation and help Australia to Rethink Addiction.
