Please read the below information regarding the COVID-19 safety procedures that will be implemented during the event. These procedures will be in place to keep all the delegates and staff safe during these times. 

To ensure the safety of delegates and staff, the following guidelines will be in place during the event:

  • Social distancing (1.5m) must be maintained (event spaces will be set up to assist with these requirements)
  • Conference registration staff will be wearing face masks to protect attendees.
  • Staggered entry into sessions to avoid queues
  • COVID 19 marshals will be present to ensure all the rules are followed
  • Entry and exits points will be signposted to assist with the flow of attendees
  • Hand sanitiser will be provided for use at all venue entries
  • Attendees will be required to complete the venues health declaration form this will be sent to all attendees 1 week prior to the event
  • Attendees will be required to scan into each venue space.  The venue will hold this information securely for 28 days and will be provided it to The Department of Health if requested
  • It is recommended you download the COVID-19 safe app

If you have the following, please don't attend the Congress:

  • You have a fever or symptoms of respiratory infection (cough, sore throat, shortness of breath)
  • You have returned from overseas in the 14 days prior to the event
  • You have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19: (coronavirus) in the 14 days prior to the event
  • You reside in a declared hot spot in the 14 days prior to the event

If you cancel attendance due to COVID-19 you will be offered a full refund.  Please send through your cancellation and reasoning to conference@confco.com.au
