ALGA is calling for councils to submit motions for the 2024 National General Assembly of Local Government (NGA), which will be held from 2 - 4 July 2024 at the National Convention Centre in Canberra.
A discussion paper providing further information, and outlining the criteria that motions must meet, can be downloaded below.
Motions are due by Tuesday 30 April 2024 and must be lodged online on the link below.
This year’s NGA is expected to be the biggest yet, and we are continuing to work with the Government towards incorporating the return of the Australian Council of Local Government (ACLG) as part of our event. Stay tuned for further details in the weeks ahead.
