the LG Professionals Australia National Congress & Business Expo.

With the theme "RE:NEW", the Congress focuses not on a typical return to business as usual, but instead a renewed
look at what normal is for our sector.

RE:NEW is taking on mental health, from your own personal level right through to operationalising its importance in your organisation; disaster mitigation and recovery, calling on the new agencies in Canberra set up for this very purpose; the future of work and where skills gaps will need to be filled; the practical side to embracing diversity; and what’s next in infrastructure, following record investment in the sector.
 
We won’t just be taking in the latest in best practice and innovative thinking, we’ll also be celebrating what we’ve achieved over the last year while we network in some of Canberra’s finest venues.

I look forward to seeing you at the congress once you’ve secured your seat. It’s not business as usual, it’s business renewed as the premier local government conference returns to revitalise our thinking with new ideas,
new learnings, and new motivation.
