Dr Stephen Davies is a Principal Research Scientist in the Soil Science and Crop Nutrition Portfolio at the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD), Government of Western Australia. With over 24 years of experience in agricultural research, Dr Davies has worked across leading institutions including the University of Western Australia (PhD studies), CSIRO Plant Industry in Canberra, and DPIRD, where he is based in the Midwest region of Geraldton. His expertise lies in managing soil constraints in cropping systems, with a strong focus on developing practical tools and solutions to support grain growers.

Therese is a Principal Research Scientist and Team Leader with the CSIRO Agriculture and Food Systems Program at Waite Campus, Adelaide. She has expertise in soil and crop management and works on a range of largely industry funded projects that test strategies to improve productivity and profit-risk outcomes for growers across Australia's cropping regions.
